
ACCESSIBILITY:
The Tea House is not accessible for those who have any mobility difficulties. This is due to the building historical age and construction, steep stairs and short doorways. If you think you might have difficulties please contact The Tea House prior to booking to discuss.
ALLERGIES:
Please advise whether hypo-allergenic bedding is required when you’re booking. If you require non dairy milk please let us know before arrival. Please note we are not able to offer gluten free options for breakfast.
PARKING:
There is no on site parking at The Tea House. Parking is permissible along the High Street for limited time and there are also several car parks nearby. This includes The Market Car Park which is £2.50 for 24 hours. Please see helpful tips for details.
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT:
Check-in is available after 3 pm, at a time pre-arranged with your host. We can alternatively provide you with a door code for entry if you are not sure what time you might arrive or if you are delayed . Check-out is by 10.30am on the day of departure.
PAYMENT:
Your stay must be paid in full 14 days before arrival or on reservation if a last minute booking.

HOUSE REQUESTS:
• No pets
• No children
• No Hot Food meals/takeaways in the bedrooms (we can facilitate this in the dining area - please ask)
• No smoking or vaping/candles or joss sticks
• No parties
• No Tyre Tread soled shoes or boots to be worn up the stairs or in the bedrooms
• Check-in from 3pm onwards at a time agreed with your host
• Quiet time from 9pm until 9am, please respect other guests
• Only paying guests to be in the house. Please do not invite anyone else in
• Please note that we reserve the right to cancel your stay and refuse entry to anyone who is obviously unwell.
• Please do not pull in to the alleyway next to the house to unload/load luggage
• If you damage or spill something please advise your host as soon as it occurs to minimise the damage and resolve or fix the problem.
• If you use our luggage store after you check out please collect your luggage promptly and be aware that you have checked out and your room and any other facilities are no longer available for your use

CANCELLATION POLICY:
On booking you will be asked for partial payment. This is refundable if you cancel up to 14 days or more before arrival date.
If you cancel after this period your payment is non-refundable.
However, we understand that sometimes a late cancellation is unavoidable so in order to help we will attempt to sell your rooms again if we can. If your rooms are sold you will receive a refund of your deposit less an admin fee of 10% of the full booking amount. Or you may also have the option to re-book a low season midweek stay instead.
